COURSE DESCRIPTION
Nutrition is a key factor in preventing and managing chronic diseases. Research shows that physician communication about nutrition plays a vital role in improving patient health outcomes, yet physicians often face barriers like limited time and lack of training when discussing diet with patients. This course will outline practical strategies for effective nutrition conversations and discuss examples of effective nutrition communication with patients. By integrating these approaches into routine care, physicians can empower patients to make sustainable dietary changes that improve overall health outcomes.
