COURSE DESCRIPTION
We are all aware of the role emotions play in the way we conduct our daily lives, but are you aware that, emotions also have a huge impact on how people perceive, process and act upon health information? This course will introduce you to frameworks on emotion relevant to health communication. You will be acquainted with research that highlights the role emotions play in how people process health information. Finally, the course will go over practical implications of that research for developing message-based interventions.
